Mat Essentials on ZOOM

New to Pilates? This is where to start. In this introductory class, you will learn the basic principles of Pilates and learn how to apply them to the essential level mat exercises. Learn modifications that work for your posture, because not everyone was made the same. This mat-based workout is designed to help participants develop leaner, longer-looking muscles, establish core strength and stability, and heighten mind-body awareness. Come try it out and see what all the hype is about!! We are now offering this class virtually with equipment you can find around your home or we can lend you some equipment for the time our studio is closed. All you need is a computer or phone and you can do the workout in the comfort of your own home!

 

 

Mat Sculpt

EVERY DAY  45 MINUTES

This interval style class ups your metabolism into high gear with this energy-boosting workout. Take advantage of your body's natural ability to burn fat throughout the day and also chase away stress, while building strength and endurance.

Intervals of very low impact movement and strength sections, combined with active recovery will keep your body and mind challenged…. and warm! Pilates mat work based intervals are combined in innovative and powerful sequences that gradually increase in rhythm & intensity to help rev up the body's fat burning capacity

 


Express Mat

EVERY DAY  45 MINUTES

This is a no BS, no excuses, lunch hour express class!!

Take a break from your day for lunch time Pilates. This 45 minute Pilates class is designed to tone and strengthen your body focusing on your core, butt and arms in the middle of the day, and give you that connection and alignment you crave mid-afternoon.

 


Barre

EVERY DAY   45 MINUTES

Barre is a high intensity workout, that incorporates elements of Dance and Pilates to elongate muscles and work them to fatigue.  Designed as a “dancers” workout classes are choreographed to music and work the entire body.   The idea is to warm up the body and prepare it as a dancer would through long movements, high reps and logical counts.  The class is open to all fitness levels.  Be prepared to sweat!

 

Chair

VARIABLe    45 minutes

The chair looks simple but it can make you quiver and sweat. It can make easy looking exercises very difficult all while changing your bodies ability to balance in life. But best of all it also helps you stretch. This class is for someone who knows pilates principles but is looking for a different spin.

 


Private\ Semi-Private

Private training is perfect for people who have specific goals in mind and would like personal detailed instruction and a targeted program developed specifically for you. We will incorporate Pilates exercises on a variety of equipment. Workouts will be choreographed with your goals in mind and at a pace that works for you.  Privates can be taken in conjunction with classes.

 

Pelvic Floor Pilates Workshops

•Help you understand the muscles of the pelvic floor, where they are & how they function

•Educate you about weakness in the pelvic floor muscles that result in disorders such as incontinence & pelvic organ prolapse

•Teach you specific exercises to condition the appropriate muscles focusing not only on strength, but endurance & coordination

The workshop will include an informational interactive presentation as well as an exercise portion.

 

 

 

 

 

 
 

Pilates Reformer


The reformer classes adds a whole new level of strength training to pilates by working your body against spring resistance, allowing you to work your muscles more deeply and correctly. Best of all, the reformer is very versatile, and the variations are endless - you will never get bored!

 

 

 

 

Reformer Foundation

EVERY DAY  45 MINUTES

The Reformer Foundations class is designed to familiarize clients with the terminology and mechanics of the Reformer. The Reformer offers a new way to challenge the core and limbs with adjustable resistance.  Clients will learn essential level exercises that are similar to those previously learned on the Mat.  This class is available to any client who has completed a one on one or a previous mat class.

 


Jumpboard

EVERY DAY  30 MINUTES

Bring high energy and a smile when you join us for our Reformer Jumpboard workout. Float through the air (while on your back), jump like a kid again, and have FUN in this energizing cardio Reformer group class, that uses the padded Jumpboard at the end of the Reformer. This class is a low impact, heart pumping, leg burning, belly flattening cardio workout that features intervals of full body sculpting between the jumping sequences. Lunch Reformer

EVERY DAY 45 MINUTES

This is a no BS, no excuses, lunch hour express class!!

Get ready for an all-body blitz that will leave you feeling challenged yet rejuvenated for the rest of the afternoon. Here you'll gain strength, flexibility and control as you work with spring resistance on the most popular piece of Pilates equipment. Understanding the foundations and essence of Pilates movements will work your whole body and you'll have fun!

Beginner Chair and Reformer Class

Monday and Thursdays    45 minutes

A combination of beginner Stability chair and Beginner Reformer. A great full body workout. The chair with challenge your balance in new ways while the reformer allows you to focus on specific muscles while supporting others in your workout. There is endless possibilities and combination of exercises to experience in this class.

 

Athletic Performance

Focus is placed on specific sport enhancing exercises for the individual, while combining injury awareness as well. Athletes will work one-on-one with an instructor or in small-specialized groups with programs that are designed to increase mobility and strengthen areas that are restricted or weak.

 


Injury Rehabilitation

After an injury, rehabilitation is a necessary step in total recovery.  Whether your injury is acute or chronic, trainers will assess physical restrictions through a series of assessment protocols and create a program combining exercises and stretches that will address limitations and improve functional movement.  Often we work in conjunction with your Physiotherapists to prevent injury re-occurrence and return you to an active lifestyle.

 

Pilates for Men

Pilates is not just for women! In fact, Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates over 50 years ago and continues to aid as a tool to reach optimal physical and mental wellness. Pilates emphasizes moving from the center of the body- the powerhouse, to develop core strength in the deep muscles of the center to stabilize the trunk and protect the back. This kind of core training makes Pilates an excellent technique for whole-body fitness, as well as a foundation for cross training with other kinds of sports and exercise. Instructed by Stott Pilates professionals, men will build core strength and stability, improve posture and alignment while relieving stress and pain from the body.
